The Hive Buckhead

The food was excellent, Jay was amazing, we came from Bermuda and had a wonderful experience. Definitely will be back and we recommend Jay as your server. The music was also good but the area we were in we wish it was louder; however, I'm still giving this brunch and vibes a 10/10.

What they did great: Service was excellent. Great variety. Warm and welcoming atmosphere. I really liked the see through view of the kitchen and food being prepared by the staff. Food was seasoned. Excellent variety of refreshments. What they did not do so well: ***AUTOMATIC 20% GRATUITY*** no exceptions on gratuity. I’m not from Buckhead or Atlanta so the price was definitely inflated and we were very shocked at our ticket/food bill when it arrived. Just be prepared to spend 2x what you thought it would cost. **Would have preferred chicken cooked a little harder. Chicken was done, but if cooked longer we would have picked all of the meat off the bone. Even the bottle water was $10 + 20% gratuity. Chicken and Waffles was $27.50 +20% gratuity. Overall experience: The Hive Buckhead is unique, one of the kind, beautifully decorated, has a wonderful menu. Due to price and what’s offered, I would only eat there perhaps 1x per year.

Jay was a great server! Very attentive. My Cajun pasta was deliciousss and my friends also loved their steak and cheese panini, catfish and grits, and honey biscuit. The atmosphere was niceeee. Had a very fun time!

Kareem was amazing and gave us great suggestions. The food was great and the atmosphere cozy. We had steak and eggs and the Mediterranean Bowl with a side of plantains. 100+ for two people is a bit much though. Plus $10 for parking. This is a special occasion spot with those prices.

The food was good especially the salmon bites we ended up ordering three orders of those. I had the cat fish and grits and really enjoyed my food. My girlfriend I believe she had the salmon and grits???? I just know my food was delicious and will be back when we visit ATL again. The drinks were decent not really strong in my opinion, I have been drinking lemon drops and dirty Martin's for YEARSSS. And their lemon drop was just mehhh

The food was over priced and the quality was terrible. I ordered the red velvet Belgian waffle with two chicken wings. The chicken was seasoned well but the chicken was greasy. The red velvet waffle was chewy and dry. The egg whites taste weird and I honestly don’t know how to explain it but check out the pictures below. They don’t let you return it either so that’s crazy to me. Our server Jay was fantastic though he gave great service despite the food being terrible. I don’t think I’ll be back honestly. My bill was $50.90.
